DESCRIPTION:Some of the finest acts in San Diego are set to perform on this year’s Six String Society Mard Gras cruise on the beautiful WD Evans sternwheeler down on Mission Bay. In addition to 6 full bands and 2 solo artists this amazing vessel will be cruising the calm waters of Mission Bay for 3 1/2 hours. Our featured acts this year include Blues & Soul International star Ms. Whitney Shay and her great band\, the Zydeco Mudbugs\, Sure Fire Soul Ensemble\, Lady Dottie and the Diamonds\, Euphoria Brass Band\, and Sue Palmer & her Motel Swing orchestra. Plus\, solo artists Ben Powell and Robin Henkel! There will be dancing on all three levels with non-stop music for 6 hours! Also\, our VIP dinner cruise package will include beautiful Southern Cajun cuisine and even dessert! And yes\, there will be vegan options that include beautiful grilled vegetables along with a nice dessert. Please note\, the sooner U purchase VIP reserved tickets the closer your table will be the bands. Plus\, our VIP dinner guests will board at 5 PM with the general admission passengers boarding at 6:30. So really\, come join the fun!  \nTickets run $55 and up.

Dempsey Pappion\, on accordion and washboard and Guy Martin Plauché\, on fiddle bring their creole traditions from Lake Charles and Avoyelles parishes respectively.
